BEST HANDSET OF 2008

Sony Ericsson's W910 Walkman is awarded GSM Association's Best Handset 2008
Sony Ericsson was delighted to announce that its W910 Walkman phone which was a hit with music lovers has been awarded Best Handset at the GSM Association's 13th Global Mobile Awards 2008.

The handset which was launched last year is designed for entertainment.

The special application which enables users to change music by shakeing the phone was critisised by some people who thiught if the application was abble to change track just by movement it will cause problems to people who are allways on the move because it will keep changing tracks whenever they take a stop, but some were not so negative they welcomed the idea by saying it will save the hasle of geting the phone out and pressing the button.

It also has a SenseMe(TM) which users can use to chose music according to their mood.

With its 1GB Memory Stick Micro(TM) provided in box, the W910 Walkman phone can hold over 900 songs with room for plenty more thanks to its expandable memory.

Since the launch of the W800 Walkman phone in August 2005, more than 57 million Walkman phones have been sold worldwide

1. 3G iPhone

Despite its enormous hype, the iPhone has been underwhelming in its assault on the UK mobile scene. Perhaps people have been put off by the exorbitant price, maybe its the lack of true USPs, either way, it’s fully expected that a second generation iPhone will be with us sooner rather than later, and this one will be equipped with 3G connectivity. It was a big disappointment not to see 3G on the original model, severely undermining the product’s excellent safari browser and touchscreen interface, but a Mk II iPhone should be enough to appease some doubters. The rumoured price drop might swing a few floating voters as well.
